Beluga Racer approaching Cape Town

Beluga Racer on a charge toward Cape Town - www.beluga-racer.com - Portimao Global Ocean Race SW
The leading boat in the Portimão Global Ocean Race, German entry Beluga Racer is currently 38 miles from the finish line in Cape Town at 06:20 UTC. They are sailing at 10.2 knots giving them an ETA of 11:00 UTC - 13:00 local time in Cape Town.

The second boat, Chilean entry Desafio Cabo de Hornos is 38 miles astern. They have an ETA of 14:30 UTC - 16:30 local time.

The finish line is right off the entrance to Cape Town harbour. Directly after finishing Beluga Racer will proceed to a welcome dock in front of the Royal Cape Yacht Club.
